A Problem We Saw
Every Single Day
Growing up in Nairobi, the Cambier founders witnessed something deeply troubling: used cooking oil poured down drains, children without access to basic hygiene products, and a youth generation told they were too young to make a difference.
They refused to accept that. In 2024, three young Kenyans — Elijah, Alex, and Felix — decided to turn a daily problem into a lasting solution. Cambier was born.
The Problem Is Identified
Thousands of litres of used cooking oil are dumped into Nairobi's waterways monthly, while children in underserved communities lack access to basic hygiene products.
Cambier Is Founded
Three youth founders unite around a simple but powerful idea: collect the waste that's polluting the environment and transform it into products that improve lives.
1,000 Litres Repurposed
A major milestone — 1,000+ litres of used cooking oil collected, transformed, and turned into eco-friendly hygiene products distributed across Nairobi communities.
Growing the Movement
Expanding programs, empowering more youth, and advancing women's leadership in green innovation — building toward a cleaner, healthier Kenya for generations to come.
